 Each mask is individually hand crafted and one of a kind. Some masks are made from natural fibers molded over plaster faces, others are cut from many different materials and layered with hand-dyed silk velvets and felts. Many of them do not have real feathers, but "faux" feathers that are hand made by the artist, Julie Anderson. Found objects and vintage jewelry adorn many of the masks. Special wooden stands can be ordered to hold the mask as a sculpture. And many of the masks can be made into a hand-held mask with a matching stick. These masks make wonderful gifts and fit almost any size adult face. Special orders are available and take 6-8 weeks. The "floating masks" are hand cut, painted and glittered. They literally float on the face with tiny pieces of double sided tape. They are the unique invention of Julie Anderson and can be ordered in any color. We have left on the site many of the "sold" masks since "similar" ones can be created by request or may already have been completed. We ship overnight all of our gifts and masks if needed, and we endeavor to keep masks updated. However, during some seasons, they are sold faster than our webmaster can load them. We also carry a complete line of rental costumes that can be "matched" with the masks and we are happy to help you personally to find them.
